AI browser agent

An AI browser agent that lives in your Chrome.

Describe a task in plain words. Valet does it in your own tab, with the model you choose, while you watch. No new browser, no account, no Valet server.

What an AI browser agent does for you

Does the clicking for you
Valet reads the page, then clicks, types, scrolls and picks options with real input, the way you would.
Works on the pages you use
Shops, dashboards, forms, search results, long articles. It reads the page as an outline and takes a screenshot when layout matters.
Brings back something useful
An answer in the panel, or a file: Markdown notes, a CSV table, JSON data, or a PDF report with its sources.
Asks before anything that matters
A new site or a form that sends data waits for your OK, and the extension enforces that, not the model.

Three kinds of AI browser agent

Agents that browse for you come in three shapes. They differ in where the work happens and what you give up.

Things people hand to Valet

  • Compare before buying. “Find the cheapest blue mug on these three shops and compare shipping.”
  • Collect into a table. “List every speaker on this conference page with their company, as a CSV.”
  • Research with sources. “Read these five articles and give me a PDF summary with links.”
  • Fill in the boring part. “Fill this registration form with the details in the PDF I attached.” You approve before it sends.
  • Learn a site. Learn mode points where it will click, says why, and waits for you to press Next.
FAQ

Questions people ask.

More in the main FAQ and the help pages.

What is an AI browser agent?

An assistant that does things on web pages, not just answers questions. It reads the page, clicks, types and fills forms to finish a task you describe. Valet is one, built as a Chrome extension.

Is Valet free?

Yes, and open source under Apache-2.0. You pay only your AI provider, through a subscription or API key you already have, or nothing with a local model.

Which models does it work with?

Claude (sign in with Pro/Max or an API key), ChatGPT (sign in with Plus/Pro or an API key), Gemini, xAI, Mistral, Groq, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Cloudflare and more, Ollama on your own computer, and any OpenAI-compatible server.

Is it safe to let an AI click around?

Valet keeps the rules in the extension: sites you have not approved are blocked before a request leaves the browser, forms show every value before they send, it never types into password fields and ignores instructions found inside pages.

Give it a small errand today.

Free, open source, and it asks before anything that matters.
